I purchased Alex in 2009 after falling in love with her playful and kind nature. When I brought her home, I noticed that she always had a runny discharge down her hind legs. When I asked her previous owner about it, she told me Alex had always been that way, and it didn’t seem to bother her. It bothered me though! Besides being unsightly, I worried that she might have a serious digestive condition. After a full vet check, she was pronounced the picture of health. I tried several probiotic supplements with limited success. After a lot of research, I purchased a 28-day supply of SmartDigest Ultra. Within three days she started showing improvement. It’s now been six months, and Alex has beautiful, clean, white legs! She also now has a healthy, shiny coat. I believe that SmartDigest Ultra
changed her life, as well as mine, for the better. Thank you!

I own a horse stable and I have seen almost every problem imaginable come and go in my stable. From 28 years experience in horse care, I recommend to anyone that purchases a horse to start them on smartgut or the smartdigest ultra as you mentioned. The reason for this is, it sometimes takes horses up to six months to settle in a new home, furthermore, there are many things going on with your new horse that you may not be aware of. One thing is stress. I’ve noticed many signs and symptoms of ulcers in horses. Sometimes there are no signs, but often there are more than one or two symptoms that point toward stomach issues. Even cribbing is a sign. I like being on the safe side and saving the new owner and the new horse a trip to the hospital. My vet recommends smartgut as a daily supplement for all horses to prevent ulcers, and reduce the risk of colic. Often horses never get probiotics or prebiotics after they have been de-wormed. Anytime you purchase a horse and use a de-wormer, make sure you always give the horse increments of the de-wormer tube over a period of 7 days before giving the horse a full tube. Sometimes previous owners do not tell the truth, and if you de-worm with the full tube, it can cause too many worms to die at once, resulting in an impaction. Anytime a horse colics, there is an underlaying cause. I have seen a horse colic six times before the owner took it to the hospital, only to find an ulcer. An ulcer that almost killed him. Once he recovered, he was put on tractgard for the rest of his life. I recommend smartgut for all horses!
