From our June 2011 Edition:
In 2010, after a winter of showing in Florida, Orion’s owners noticed he’d lost interest in his feed, which was really out of character. They immediately had him scoped by the vet, who confirmed gastric ulcers. After treating the ulcers with GastroGard®, his owners started him on SmartGut. When we featured Orion last year, he was travelling and competing regularly, without a trace of gastric upset. His owners were so pleased, they started all their show horses on SmartGut!
“Last year, Orion sustained a suspensory injury that kept him out of work. We started him on a careful treatment program and added SmartTendon to support his tendons and ligaments. When Orion started back in work, we kept him on the SmartTendon to provide daily support (much like how he’s still on SmartGut!). This year he came back in full force, winning the Northampton Equitation Classic and the Junior Medal at the Western New England Professional Horseman’s Association Equitation Finals!”
