The best way to spend an evening is with a roomful of cuddly bunnies and horse people, and I was able to do just that during a recent SmartPak Academy, hosted by the MSPCA & Nevins Farm in Methuen, MA. In the adoption center itself, surrounded by cats and rabbits, SmartPakers Kristen and Susan presented a seminar focusing on joint health and the SmartFlex supplements line in one of a series of weekly learning sessions offered by the MSPCA this month. The SmartPak team was excited to provide an in-depth look into joint health, risk factors for cartilage degradation, and how supplements help provide a steady supply of the ingredients horses needs to cope with the stress of exercise and maintain healthy joints. While enjoying chocolate chip cookies and Hawaiian punch, the audience offered up some great questions regarding joint care and overall equine health, which led into the topic of SmartDigest Ultra and ColiCare, SmartPak’s new $7,500 colic surgery reimbursement program. Right before we left, we drew the name of the lucky winner of a $160 Harwich Padded Fancy Stitch bridle, which was immediately and generously donated right back to the MSPCA! I had a great time meeting the group of horse owners that attended the seminar, and while I left without adopting a rabbit (this time), I learned more about our customers and the horses in their care. Thanks so much to Melissa Ghareeb and the amazing team at MSPCA Nevins Farm Equine Adoption Center in Methuen, MA for inviting us to participate in their learning series.
Sounds like a fun and informative evening. Wish we had the advantage of these offerings down here in the south.
