The Accounting Assistant position will support the general management of the Accounting Department, as well as perform entry-level Accounting duties.
The Nitty Gritty:
- Vendor Check matching on a daily basis
- Maintain vendor files – unpaid & paid invoices
- Sorting and distributing mail
- Approving drop ship invoices
- Printing Purchase Orders
- Assisting General Accountants in PO/Invoice matching
- Vendor statement reconciliation
- Other special projects as needed
- 0-2 years of Accounts Payable and/or Bookkeeping experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
- Growing knowledge of Accounting/Bookkeeping software (Great Plains preferred)
- A team player attitude
