Junior Photo Producer

The Junior Photo Producer is someone who is fun-loving, works hard and enjoys a fast-paced, detail-oriented and creative environment.  The perfect candidate for this position Love Horses is able and willing to work in a deadline-driven direct marketing environment and has at least 3 years of experience using Photoshop.

Some day-to-day responsibilities:

  • Manage merchandising samples for location and studio photo shoot
  • Produce location shoots from start to finish: booking talent/crew, manage castings, booking locations, pulling product from inventory, packing/shipping/transporting product to be shot, setting up at location(s)
  • Create shot lists and call sheets
  • Process invoices from talent/stylists
  • Develop and implement methods and manage resources to improve efficiency and productivity at location photo shoots
  • All photo shoot post production including unpacking, re-tagging/returning samples and un-used inventory
  • Keep photo storage closet organized and inventoried
  • Manage website photography, including new product and any updates to existing product
  • Research and purchase stock photography as requested by print and web designers

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Photography or related field
  • 2-3 years of photo production experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Critical, conceptual thinker with excellent attention to detail and an open mind to feedback
  • Good time- and project-management skills with the flexibility to both self-manage and work as part of a team within a dynamic environment
  • Strong skills in Photoshop on a Mac platform, plus working knowledge of InDesign and Microsoft Office
  • Horse experience gives you a leg up! (pun intended!)

Program Knowledge Requirements:

  • Photoshop expert, plus working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite
  • Mac platform
  • Microsoft Office Suite
