“My story begins with an appaloosa named Chip, who I have owned over 15 years. He has always been very low maintenance and accident free until November of 2008. While playing with his buddy, he was kicked and ended up with a spiral fracture in his front radius. We were very nervous about what would happen to him, as a 17 year old horse. Thankfully, after 4 months of stall rest and 2 months of walking, we were able to start riding him again! I put Chip on SmartFlex Senior to help manage any discomfort, and have brought him back without any issues. We have shown (and placed!) in dressage and are starting to jump again! I look forward to a new show season full of exciting possibilities and I know Chip is comfortable and happy on his SmartFlex Senior.”
WOW, that is soooo wonderful, I am very happy for you, I have a 25 year old Quarter Horse who I have had since he has been 2 and 1/2 and he is my BEST FRIEND> We trail ride all the time together. We are from Maryland and just last week I took him to the Blue Ridge Mountains in North Carolina (long trip, 9 hours away) and we rode the Blue Ridege mountains for 4 days and he was just WONDERFUL. He made me proud!!!!! I am so happy that your horse is doing so well!!!!!!!!!! Happy trails!!!!!!!!!
