Justin Bieber’s mug shot has been all over the internet this week. And in one of those “you know you’re a rider when…” moments, I instantly thought of my horse’s unruly forelock:

Cody, American Quarter Horse with a Gypsy Vanner forelock.

Naturally, my next step was seeing how many horses I could find that could out-forelock Bieber. Here are my top picks:

Sarah is the proud mom of Cody, a semi-retired, 23-year-old Quarter Horse gelding, and she’s currently looking for an eventing partner to help her get rid of all the extra time, money and energy she doesn’t actually have :-) If you're interested in her often-horsey, always-odd musings, follow @SmartPakerSarah on Twitter.

OMG!! That video was the best. As I was watching I thought “they must be spooking at a hand held camera” I just had to laugh when I saw the great big scarey monster at the end of the clip.
