I’m not sure about you, but any time I get some extra cash, it’s hard not to spend it all on new gear! While I did set aside some of my tax refund this year for boring things like credit cards and savings, I’m looking forward to adding a few new pieces of apparel to my collection. Here are my top picks:
One K Defender Suede Helmet
At over 5 years old, it’s time for me to retire my current helmet. I’ve had my eye on the One K brand for a while now, and I’m so excited we are now carrying it! These helmets are stylish, comfortable, and affordable. The suede finish is very traditional and will look great in the dressage ring this year.
Piper Full Seat Breeches
These are hands down my favorite breeches for schooling. The low rise, comfortable wide waistband, and durable fabric make them an excellent choice for everyday wear. The adorable piping accents and plethora of pockets also make them stylish and convenient—plenty of room to stash treats for my pony. I’m so excited that there are new colors available; the one I love the most is navy with emerald accents.
Ariat® Heritage III Zip Paddock
My previous pair of Ariats have undergone many years of abuse and fared surprisingly well! But after a lot of faithful service, it’s time for me to replace them. I love the comfortable footbed, high quality leather, and easy on/off zipper style of these boots. They wear like iron, are great for around the barn, and have a very classic look.
Tredstep Deluxe Half Chaps
These are definitely what I consider my go-to half chaps. Like my paddock boots, these have endured years of abuse and are ready for replacement. What I love about Tredstep is their sizing, which allows you to choose nearly any combination of calf and height measurements to get the perfect fit. The leather on these chaps is soft and will mold to your leg over time, giving the perfect close-contact feel. The easy outer zipper and snaps makes these easy to take on and off, and they are extremely comfy to wear.
