Effects of Turmeric and Devils Claw on Horse Stomach Health

That’s why we brought in Dr. Frank Andrews, LVMA, from Louisiana State University to talk with Dr. Lydia Gray, SmartPak Staff Veterinarian and Medical Director, about the research study he did for SmartPak on the safety of the ingredients turmeric and devil’s claw as it pertains to stomach health in horses. Dr. Andrews has extensive experience in researching equine stomach health dating back to the original study of omeprazole (GastroGard) on horse’s stomachs, as well as the study he performed on SmartGut Ultra.
